Last Thursday, I had the honour of performing at a charity event for SPD (Society for Physically Disabled) beneficiaries. They were having a Pre-Lunar New Year lunch & some of us from Hark Music headed down to entertain them with our singing performances.

I sang the Collin Raye classic “Love, Me”, one of my favourite songs. The others individually sang a variety of Chinese songs, and we sang “当你孤单你会想起谁” as well “朋友”, and a medley of Lunar New Year songs together.
The beneficiaries really enjoyed themselves & even sang together with us. One of two were dancing & jiggling together with the rhythm in their seats. I myself enjoyed the time spent there with them. Even though it was a short time, but I got the chance to speak with some of them & they’re a joy to be around.

I’m really thankful for this opportunity to be able to use my talents to bless others around me. A big thank-you to the Oscar Volunteer Network (S’pore) for having us there!
